Can anyone help me with the convergence adjustments on my Cornerstone 2072
monitor?
I'm able to adjust the center very good, but can't get the colors on the
corners on top of each other. This monitor has the normal three pairs of
magnet rings on the neck of the CRT plus a pair on the back of the yoke.
It's basically a HITACHI monitor, don't know the Model number.
Thanks for your help.

The corners are adjusted by the magnets on the yoke.

The corners are adjusted using slip magnets between the yoke winding and
the CRT neck at the bell side or front side of the yoke.

These magnets are inserted between the yoke and CRT. The angle and dept
will effect the convergence on the corners in the respective angle of
insertion. This is tricky and require a lot of experience to do right.
These slip magnets are available from most manufactures.

Many low cost TV manufactures don't bother with them, and therefore
their corner convergence is out a bit.
