These have removable lightboxes, and we always rebuild the 1674s in shop with
excellent success. As far as buying the 1674 outright, they typically have 25%
failure rate (even from LG).

Definitely check R3243 (110k 1/2w), also check R3244 (82k 1/2w) for
any change in value. Inspect the board for poor solder connections.
(Also be sure to check the 120K resistors on the CRT boards)

One quick check to test the bleeder ass'y, unplug and measure the
resistance across connector 4F. Should read between 48K and 55K. If
higher or lower than those values, the bleeder is usually bad.

Since the customer is bringing the set in, you have the luxury of
ordering parts as necessary and avoiding multiple trips to the home.
