Warren,

The 465M is a militarized version of the 465, not the 465B. The
465B is a later revision of the 465, with a couple of
enhancements. The 465B includes a A-Trigger view (which can be
used as a 3rd channel), the ability to cascade the vertical amps
for 1mV/div sensitivity, can sense 1X and 10X probes that are so
equipped, and includes a 10X horizontal magnifier, allowing sweep
speeds of up to 2nS/div. Both scopes are excellent pieces of
equipment, the 465 and 465M just have a few less bells.

Can anyone tell me the functional differences between the
"B" and "M" versions of the Tektronix 465 oscilloscope?
On the surplus market, the "M" appears to be slightly
cheaper. Warren Ngo wn...@freenet.edmonton.ab.ca
