I'd try it but have a long cable run so want to ask --
can you view composite video on a component connection? I know the green input has the picture "info" -- maybe if I connect the composite to the green input. I'll see "something"?
Don't care about quality or audio -- just want to see the video (it's a video output for a preamp setup with the remote).
Probably can't be done but worth asking.
I can use an rf modulator for the coax input if not.

I am running my TV that way from the composite video of digital
converter cable box and get monochrome picture with the yellow composite
video cable connected to the Y component input.
