By popular demand, the [technically discontinued] EPROMr 2.x free EPROM
burner project has been updated!

* Control software 2.0.2 fixes read/write problems on Pentium(r)-class PCs.
* Hand-drawn schematics have been replaced by
* Errata in the documentation have been corrected
* FAQ has been updated
* Latest sourcecode is also available for your convenience in porting to

So why is it discontinued -- just lack of NT support?
How is the new model going to handle NT?

I've already spoken about this in private mail, but the EPROMr 2.x is
strictly a hack burner for people who either mainly want to read EPROMs, or
who are just "playing". The EPROMr 3.1 is controlled over a 3-wire serial
link, which circumvents NT's strange limitations on playing with the flow
control lines.
