A question on stock trades -
I read an article, on the Robinhood brokerage:
"Citadel Securities executes many of the orders submitted
by small investors through Robinhood. It pays Robinhood
for the right to execute customer orders, their computers fill them in nanoseconds."
What exactly does this mean, to execute the orders?
If Citadel does the real work, what does Robinhood do?
