retailers like Home Depot,Lowe's,Walmart, etc offer an abundance of
products made by China,Thailand, etc. Not only are they selling poor
products cheaply AND at big markups, they are doing THE WRONG THING by
not supporting native-born American jobs

agree - American relies too much on others to tame inflation.

IPOD is made in China, the Chinese had few percent profit from their
labor and manufacture equipment. Apple re-sell it with $80 profit
(40%) on the machine costs $225.00, the rest of profit shared to
distribution, retailers in USA - I hardly see anything made here
anymore.

They can make a profit made in USA, but it is smaller - Obama
initially supported limited protectionism but private corp want big
profit, so he backs out. VW China makes single seat car projected to
sell there for $600 a pop with 100+MPG, when it comes here, it will
cost $9K

More fool you.

> American relies too much on others to tame inflation.

Another lie. It has in fact just completely imploded the entire world
financial system and that will tame inflation very effectively indeed.

You are looking in the right places. Look at planes, cars, pharmaceuticals,
music, movies, TV shows, ebay, google, credit cards, fast food etc etc etc.

Nope, someone rubbed his nose in what that produced in the great
depression and he had enough of a clue to back out because of that.

Just as true of most stuff made in china, stupid.
