In case anyone is interested in such things, I just came across this:

It's a fairly new crypto theory blog, that was linked from Dick
Lipton's CS theory blog (rjlipton.wordpress.com). I don't know who
Jon Katz is, but he doesn't seem to be the same person as the former
culture writer for Slashdot.

(http://blog.computationalcomplexity.org). I don't know who Jon Katz


is, but he doesn't seem to be the same person as the former culture
writer for Slashdot.

A minute ago I posted a message similar to this one, but incorrectly
citing rjlipton.wordpress.com as the source of the link (I had been
reading both blogs at about the same time and got them mixed up. Both
are good of course).

Katz is a serious cryptographer. It seems promising.
