In "Frozen," (Amazon.com: http://xrl.us/TedsFrozenHead )
Larry Johnson, a former executive at the Alcor Life
Extension Foundation in Scottsdale, Ariz., writes that
Williams' head, which had been severed and frozen for
storage, was abused at the facility. Johnson claims a
technician took baseball-like swings at Williams' frozen
head with a monkey wrench.
Williams, the last player to hit over .400 in a season,
died in 2002 at age 83 and had his remains sent to Alcor
for cryogenic storage in the hope that future generations
would develop the technology to revive him.
. . . and a dollar short.
If you think that's bad...did you see "Fringe" last night?
Ah, that's Dano - eating up every empty-minded bit of junk the MSM can
throw at him.
MORE, MORE!!!
:D

I did! When they put the head into the cryo container I said to my
wife, "Hey - is that Ted Williams?"
last week says hello.
Dialogue of the week:
Broyles: "Why are shape-shifting soldiers from another universe
stealing frozen heads?"
Dunham: "The most likely explanation we can think of is that they're
looking for a specific head, but they don't know where it is."
Yeah. For those who missed Thursday's episode, here it is
on Hulu: http://xrl.us/FringeHead
The whole concept of freezing a head or entire body, then 're-
animating'
it at some future time for a second go at life is probably the biggest
scam ever perpetrated on egotistical rich people who are about to
croak. I never believed it was nothing more than a big con job.
Williams and all the rest supposedly being 'cared for' at these
places are as dead as door nails and will stay that way.
They should've given that money to help the living.
I think I missed a Futurama reference somewhere in the last episode.

If you believe it is a con job, why are you spending time reading and
posting about it?
In any case, if Williams and the others wished to spend THEIR money
for a hope (however remote) of a "2nd go at life," rather than give
THEIR money to help other people, THAT WAS THEIR RIGHT. It isn't your
money, don't get selfrighteous about it.

To expose the criminals?

Wrong. Stealing people's money is a crime, and swindling is stealing.

Stargate Universe SGU: It puts the "U" in "SUCKS"!
It's the show 'Defiling Gravity' would be if DG had more regulars,
fewer abortions, worse writers, and no budget for lighting.
Remember, you can't spell "disgust" without SGU!
