I didn't find any answer in the FAQ: Are there any shareware
Latin fonts out there (TrueType, PostScript) that include macron
and micron signs?
By the way: do Roman Uncial / Roman Cursive /
Carolingian Minuscule and the like fonts exist somewhere?

WordPerfect includes such letters in its "characters" set. As for the
other question, Callifonts has a wonderful set of fonts. Check my web
page http://www.intellinet.com/~tanker under Apologia for the address
and telephone number of Callifonts (I'm at the office and all I can
remember is that they are in Dallas, Texas). I use their 3rd century
font, but they have some excellent 3 - 11th century fonts - uncials,
etc. I just can't say enough good things about them.

There are three "Type Before Gutenberg" packages. You can probably browse
these at Adobe's Web site. Each package contains three type faces: look
for names such as Carolina, DuBarry, Herculaneum, Pompeii, and so on.
They originate from Linotype-Hell, I think, and are widely licensed.

These are commercial quality Type 1 (Postscript) fonts and, regrettably,
not cheap.
