organic compound stats

Anybody know where I can get import/export/production/sales figures on
Triacetin (or glycerol triacetate) and methyl acetate? I have contacted all
the usual sources - International Trade Comm/Census Bureau, Chemicals Div, etc.
with no luck. I do know the companies that produce it but they could not (or
would not) suggest where I might find this info. Thanks for your help.

The Chemical Economics Handbook is an excellent and very complete source of
information of this type. It is published by the Stanford Research Institute
and is now 38 volumes. Unfortunately it is very expensive and not many
academic libraries have it. You might try some chemical companies in the area.
Maybe they will let you use theirs. We are fortunate to have a copy at the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. If you can be more specific perhaps I can
help you find what you are looking for. You can reply to me directly if you
