There is a program called "Beaker" that sells for about $50 that gives these
answers, and much more (NMR spectrum, resonance structures, reaction products
Lewis structures, stick structures -- to name a few). Harry

Cyclohexanol: OH pKa = 16.5; (1) = 44.5 (2,6) = 45.5; (3,5) = 45.7; (4) =
45.7. 1-hexanol: OH pKa = 16.4; (1) = 44.4; (2) = 45.5; (3) = 45.7; (4) =
45.8; (5) = 45.7; (6) = 45.4. I got these pKa values from a program called
"Beaker". See "pKa for carbazole" for what else it does. Harry
