I need a synthetic procedure to obtain 2-isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine
(a
flavor/odor from wine) from pyrazine and/or to obtain substituted
alcoxypyrazines. I found some recipes in old articles (in a three
steps route) This procedure is OK, but I need the recipe to the first
two steps (first step: alkylation of pyrazine; second step
chlorination of alkylpyrazine- last step is alkoxylation). If anybody
can help me ... thanks a lot
