concerning lists of enzymes: a good source is the handbook "Enzyme Nomenclature"
I lists enzymes by function and also gives original references to isolation
and characterisation.

I have been asked for adresses of suppliers for Au or Pt minigrids used

an idea, where one can buy this material?

Please try Au minigrids with:
Buckbee-Mears Co., 245 E. 6th Street, St. Paul, MN 55101

I am not sure if electrodeposited minigrids is available in Pt;
however, a coarser woven Pt mesh has been used as an OTE. You may find

Resending. Figured I'd try one more time. I never did get any responses.

Hello.

I just happened across this discussion group while searching the net for
information on lithium batteries. Perhaps you can help.

We have some Manganese Dioxide Lithium Primary button cell batteries
which are leaking. They leave a white crystalline material on the surface
they leak onto. Questions/concerns around toxicity have arisen. As I
understand, the materials which make up this cell are lithium, propylene
carbonate, dimethoxyethane(DME), and lithium perchlorate. When considering
the small size of these batteries this leakage appears to present little
risk of serious health effects from physical contact.

I would appreciate any information on what the "white" substance might be and
any safety issues which these leaking batteries might pose and precautions
one might take when handling.

Another comments on other issues some as potential fire/explosion as a result
of them leaking would be appreciated.
