I'd like to learn more about various insects in and around
the house. In particular, I'd like to know the following
"properties":

- the force neede to remove insect's leg from the floor
- the speed of a fly
- weight of various insects

If you think that's too elementary for this group please
E-mail. I will also appreciate your suggestions on references.

Thanks in advance,

I have another elementary question to append to this ... "do fleas sleep?"

It is flea season around here, and I seem to be aware of a circadian cycle in
their activity - but I'm not home all day, so I may be imagining that they are
somewhat dormant around 3 - 4 a.m. So, what sort of active/resting cycle do
fleas (and other insects) have?

(email response to turn...@kodak.com please)

thanks, Mark
