Scientist IV-V, Biological Analysis

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assists Director in budget preparation, planning, implementing and evaluating laboratory procedures/systems on assigned projects as well as lab operation Performs physicochemical and biological analysis for biologics or related products, as per requirement. The techniques may include chromatography, CE, mass spectrometry, enzymatic assay, spectroscopy, cell-based assay, immunoassay, etc. Reviews testing and analysis records of experimental data, ensuring correctness, clarity and authenticity in transcription of results and calculations Ably trains laboratory staff as assigned in order to achieve expected results and overall goals Complies with established guidance and SOPs Prepares relevant documents for projects: protocol, reports, presentations etc. Involves in evaluation, selection and purchase of lab instruments Troubleshoots instrumentation within area of expertise Carries out lab operation activities with other team members Demonstrates a strong desire to continue learning and grow personal capability Ensures own work is aligned with overarching project goals Routinely applies personal experience, academic training, and technical insights to solve complex problems in the laboratory Pursues, recommends and implements new approaches or processes to improve laboratory operations Performs additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D. degree or Master degree in Pharma/Biochemistry/Biotech or related area with at least 5 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical analysis, including laboratory experience in compendial methods. Laboratory experience includes, but not limited to, U/HPLCs, electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, mass spectrometry, enzymatic assay, cell-based assays, ELISA, western blotting.
