Dear All,

I have created a small website for butterflies of South Asia - www.flutters.org .

It mostly has butterflies of India for now and we are trying to cover more countries. 

Photos are at -> http://www.flutters.org/home/html/photos.php .

Is there any online system ( Ex: LepIndex ) where we can find out the latest scientific names for a given species?

Not an index but have you tried seriously digging into this with all
its references, as an option?

Btw is there any single authoritative online database for World's Lepidoptera which is constantly updated based on all the new findings ( Genitalia, mtDNA sequencing, etc ) 

or its asking for too much ?

This summer, for the first time, we added the Luna to the Alberta list.  Several images were sent in from Fort McMurray by citizens with digital cameras who encountered these striking moths.  We went on to vote the Luna as the Alberta Lep Guild’s “Lep of the Year” award, and awarded it to the citizens of Fort McMurray.

 

I would like to prepare a species page for the Luna for the Strickland Entomological Museum’s Virtual Museum...and need a good image of a Luna, preferably alive, but a good pinned image would also work.

If you have one we can use, please let me know.
