Entry and Mid-level
Individuals will possess a BS or higher in an Environmental or Natural Resource related discipline
Soils, Geology, Botany, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management,
Agriculture, 0-5+ years experience in EA's, EIS, EAW's, NEPA issues, ecological field studies,
environmental site assessments, facility audits, subsurface investigations, site closures, regulatory
compliance preparing permit applications and technical reports. A understanding of a variety of
environmental issues is essential including, but not limited to, wetlands, endangered species, water
resources management, natural resources management, and environmental engineering. Ability to work
independently or with others and to follow their direction is essential.
This position will, for extended periods of time involve significant manual labor; drilling, driving and
removing steel electrode stakes into the ground for geophysical sampling. This may involve placing and
removing over 120 stakes per day. At other times it will also involve nuclear density testing of
compacted soils on construction sites.
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be comfortable
with participating in meetings with people of differing views, and should be able to prepare clear,
concise written documents under time constraints to insure that deadlines are met.
We are looking for people to help us grow, assume responsibility and be able to work well independently.
Other responsibilities may include calling on potential commercial and government clients. Entrepreneurs
are rewarded.
