Has been a long time since any posts from Ron Baalke - appreciate any feedback as to why.

Perhaps he is no longer with JPL.

Very much enjoyed his informative and timely posts - as well as the Space Calendar
postings.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Regards,

Doug

I get newsgroups through Supernews and have read Ron's post on the
group sci.space.news for many years . The last post I received from
that newsgroup was on 10/10/2011, message titled Mars Rover
Opportunity Update:September 29 - October 6, 2011. Has anyone received
messages from that newsgroup since then? Other that Ron's regular
postings the only other messages I see there are the occasional ones
by Andrew Yee. His last post was in July.

Space Calendar knows of the success of yesterday's Soyuz from Kourou,
and the ROSAT entry is marked with today's date, Oct 22. Of course, he
may have an assistant; but the Calendar bears the usual name & e-
address.

I don't know why he stopped posting to sci.astro and sci.astro.amateur,
but I do know he's still at JPL.

I'm still around. Apparently, they switched to a different
news server at JPL. I was still posting to sci.space.news,
and I was seeing my posts locally, but didn't realize they
weren't go outside of JPL until today. I talked to the SA's,
and they've fixed the problem. The posts since Oct 10th
to sci.space.news were queued up, and starting to appear
now.
