Dear Stockholm University Astronomy and Mythology,

Remember when I first started posting stuff about planetary cartography and its tools? Like anybody cared? Many universities now have championed various elements of that. You were the first with a department to raise a toast to me. That's one reason it's here.
The second reason is you're less likely to accidentally mess up a viewing site here. Let them show you some sites later other friends.
I just thought of this 5 minutes ago. I doubt anyone along that sidereal timeline is even ready to move yet. Although this will have been done before.
A diffuse mist can work as a lens. There is no question about this.
How powerful a lens? I'm thinking, "How powerful you got?" Mebbe even other universal iterations.
The way this was seen first was either a steamy room, vapors above a bowl, a misty glade or meadow, the roots of a hill or mountain, or perhaps at the beach on a glowy night.
I'd start with Venus. You should be able to get 7° disc in your visual field. At arm's length Venus should look about 1 foot tall. It's not limited to that though. A glowy night ANYWHERE is probably possible.
As always with these, there are some signposts. Here, the rainbow. That isn't the only one of course.
The green band should touch the earth where people should gather on an auspicious night. Anyone any height in a sweet spot should be able to see the projection of the target. The projection should be easily visible once you know how to focus your eyes to it. Like looking close or far the first time.
You folks probably have a location on campus. Most older universities (UC? YES!) will.
Otherwise, like a place near Stockholm named 'Odin's Well', "Odin's Seat", "Odin's Mirror", "Odin's Eye", or because I know that the ancients can be really funny jokers, "Odin's Toilet."
I'd say Easter in the wee hours is the most likely next window.
Then try Ascension day. Pagans? Try Ostara. The ancients aren't the only funny jokers.
I'll post little posts about this for years. I don't expect to see it myself for mebbe 20 years. Even though I saw a disc from Venus in the sky tonight.
Avid Researchers? Will want to call up photos of old churches, pagan sites or temples, or sites of heroic feats, hero's dwellings, or legendary locations that have a rainbow that has touched them in a photograph, or even gotten close.
You're working on the green band. The other bands will soon follow suit.
Ancient Tibetan color schemes or the ones I've delineated on my timeline will help with those. Often the same color as the planet.

Helan Går,
Kevin Anderson
