Welcome to the Democrat-run U.S. Nirvana for defense contractors, not so great for pure research.

The article clearly states that the layoffs are not the result of a budget reduction chosen by
the Biden Administration, but instead because the Republican Party controls the House of
Representatives, creating uncertainty about whether NASA will recieve its expected funding
in a timely manner.

And if it was the United States that was in immediate danger of being conquered by Russia,
I certainly would hope you wouldn't be complaining about your country spending the money
needed to prevent that from succeeding. Do you somehow think that Ukrainians are not
human beings?

The farmers protest in the EU, bc their subsidies are gone, instead the gov. sending the money to Ukraine.
Also, farmers have to compete with cheap Ukrainian agricultural imports.

Haha, American paranoia.
Russia wants to conquer the US, not the other way around, the good old cold war fear?
US spends $800 billions on defense, Russia $60 billion!
🤔😃

The greatest opponent to NASA and their program of all time was Senator William Proxmire. A Democrat.

I guess timid little Biden's "sanctions" (like the ones on Iran) did F---- all, considering Russia has the fastest-growing economy in the entire European region.
The large world looked at the conflict and said, "Eh." And India took up ALL the slack left when the "principled" Germans cut their use of Russian gas.

Forgot, Biden could be giving Ukraine money out of GUILT. Lets not forget, Ukraine was and probably still IS,
one of them most corrupt countries there is. In 1993, Clinton convinced the Ukraine to give its nukes (yeah, they had
them, think Russia would have invaded if they still did??) back to Russia because he didn't trust Ukraine. In 2015, Obama convinced
(bribed) Ukraine into relinquishing 50,000 conventional arms "to make the region safer." This is the Democrats trying to make
up for the disaster they set in motion.
