Why Is Cloudy Nights Protecting Scammers?

their attempts to scam the general amateur astronomy community.
The edits and deletions always protect the scammers and allow scams to
continue.
The question of why Cloudy Nights actively protects scammers remains
to be unanswered...any requests for an answer are deleted and the
members asking the questions are banned from the site.
All discussions and questions have been asked under the guidelines of
the CN TOS.
And FWIW...I am not one of those who have posted on this subject...but
I am one of several members who was alerted to and have been watching
this very strange behavior by the mods.
Any thoughts on this?

scammer. So it's usually standard practice that people aren't allowed

here. Perhaps banning isn't such a bad idea.
The simple fact that Too_Many_Trolls has been alerted and is watching
will certainly make us all feel secure.

is. It is probably the most pathetic, nonsensical page on Wikipedia.

CN was asked...and they deleted the question and what responses that
were posted.
Go ahead and try it yourself...post the subject on CN and see what
happens.
At this point from what I was shown by others and have seen
personally, I would not trust CN's webmaster or any of its mods.

And be sure to go buy something off their "For Sale" forum...so your
own money is at risk.
Then report back here to us with your own scam story.
But the report you log on CN will disappear with the webmaster and
mods lying about taking it off.

The CLAIMS you make do not constitute PROOF.
There is a link near the top of the classifieds that briefly describes
some possible scams. If you are SELLING an item, the BUYER should be
sending YOU money, you shouldn't have to send them any money! Does
that help you at all?

You can easily find the proof if you monitor CN for a period of
time...just like a number of us have.
I did and have seen what I have mentioned happen repeatily with the
mods/webmaster busy editing and deleting other member's comments to
hide the scamming activity that is happening.
And whining to me will not get me to do your homework...you can find
the proof if you look for it.
Unless of course you are one of the mods...then you obviously will
tell us that you can't find anything.

We had a member in our club that spent all of his time seeking and
talking about the "perfect" telescope. He didn't seem to get much
observing done for some reason.
You know, most of the tools and telescopes that you own are bad for
the environment. You should try to get by with fewer of each.
