Photos of the Annular Eclipse from Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM is a great town. But it was an especially great
place to view and photograph the annular eclipse. Experienced
amateur astronomers had set up telescopes the size of howitzers
for public viewing, and they were very helpful to neophytes like
myself. I put a mylar filter in front of my telephoto lens and
got some pictures. The thing is, there were only three sunspot
clusters, and once you lose two of them the pictures just aren't
very interesting anymore. It also didn't help that my camera
forgot how to autofocus part way through the eclipse. Anyway,
here is a shot of first contact:
