A flyer in one of Chicago's papers today include specials from
K-Mart. They have a Delco Voyager Marine Battery for sale for $29.99
(normally $49.99). The specs read as follows:
Voyager Marine C24MF Battery. 620 MCAs. Maintenance Free. Marine/RV.
Continuous Use. Deep Cycle Battery.
Comments and thoughts would be much appreciated. I have a pretty good
portable battery purchased at Target (with variable 3, 6 and 9 volt
output) for $30 but would not mind picking up a second battery as backup
if this battery is worth it. The battery purchased from Target has not
been used thanks to the cloudy skies in Chicago and I may return it if
this battery is better.
The Delco Voyager marine batteries are very good..the sale looks good
if the batteries are fresh.

Hi Herm,
I will check to see the date on the battery. By the way, it is at K-Mart
and not Wal-Mart (if that makes a difference?).
Nevertheless, thanks for confirming that these are good batteries.
Anthony.
