"A unique discovery of submerged man-made structures on the seabed off
Orkney could help find solutions to rising sea levels, experts have
said."

I believe I understand the motivation behind the multi-
disciplinary approach outlined in this story -

to learn about human adaptation to ancient and drastic
environmental changes (climate change)

Does the reader believe that after enough archaeological
data around the UK is brought to bear on the problem/premise
as I stated it, there will be a satisfactory, scientific pay-off?

BTW I have rarely seen such a poorly-written (filled with vague
language) BBC product.
