CHARTER
sci.bio.fisheries will be a forum for discussion between fisheries
students, professionals, and others with an interest in fisheries science.
Topics are not limited to, but may include population dynamics,
systematics, ecology, and aquaculture. Fisheries regulations, statistical
methods, and computer applications are also within the scope of this group.
RATIONALE
Discussions of fisheries issues have traditionally taken place in other
groups and through listservers. This group will give these issues a
focused group within which these discussions can be conducted.
