Seems to be a serendipity day for me. Earlier today I
posted about strong genetic evidence that Orrorin
was a active Rockthrower from evidence of HACSN1.

And tonight on the telly/tv was a news flash from 60-
Minutes that a paleontologist in Montana that specializes dinosaur
bones recovered a 60 million year
old T Rex that had blood tissue recovered. Now whether DNA was
recoverable was not mentioned.

But suppose it was recoverable. Then there is the likelihood that
several of the hominid fossils have
recoverable soft tissue and perhaps even DNA or
mitochrondrial DNA, for which a whole new window
on our past will be opened.

The Montana paleontologist was speaking about a
chicken/dinosaur of reverse genetic engineering in that
we can collect the genome of the chicken and then test
the genes to engineer a ancestral creature approaching
the genetics of a ancient dinosaur.

Most scientists today have a foggy notion of the vast
potential that genome and DNA have opened as a tool
of science.

Anthropology in particular has little to no appreciation of how DNA
testing and research is going to open and
unravel most of the current mysteries of that science, and virtually
so that by one or two centuries from now, anthropology will be a
mostly closed science since most of its major questions were answered
by genetics.

There is a parallelism to modern society of its law and
justice system and the science of anthropology as some big murder
mystery. Only here it is not murder
but life and why Homo sapiens species came to be.
And in most murder mysteries these days, as seen on
tv especially, is the tool of the trade that is most effective-- DNA
evidence. And so, it is not surprizing, or should not be surprizing to
anthropologists that their
best evidence will no longer be fossil bones found in
digs but will be from DNA research and the fossil bones will be
colloborative evidence.

But it may just well happen that if DNA can be recovered from 60
million year old dinosaurs, that
it is reasonable to expect DNA recovered from ancient
hominids such as Orrorin, although the bone will be
dissolved in acid to extract the inner DNA.

No you didn't, you posted your imagination. There is no
evidence whatsoever Orrorin was a rock thrower.
