What do you need to know about it? Airbus uses pretty much the same
structural design as other large transport aircraft. Stiffened
skin/stringer panels with front and rear spars forming a torsion box and
ribs to hold the airfoil shape and reduce buckling length of the stringers.
Airbus, unlike Boeing, uses a center spar for part of the span (out to
around the first engine, I think).
If you have any local airlines that have A340's, contact their maintenance
department, explain what you need to do, and see if they will let you look
at the aircraft manuals. The airline will have a complete schematic of
every part of the wing structure.
