Kick-Off Meeting on green workcamps and Fondue, Zürich

Dear friends of a green SCI

 

On the 10^th and 11^th of December we have a kick-off-meeting with our partners from Slovenia for the project “Our town has a green future”.

 

The meeting will be in the Friedensrat, Zürich and include:

discussions on:

- the link between peace and environment,

- concepts of sustainable tourism

- the social, cultural and environmental risks of tourism,

 

- creating a study part for green workcamps

- define at least one new workcamp for both countries in the framework of this project

- define standards for green workcamps

- create an action plan 2013

 

- watching films on sustainable development and on best workcamp practices in Slovenia.

 

On the 11^th, there will be the regular “SCI Treff” in Zürich just after the official end of the meeting with Fondue and moreJ

 

You are welcome to join the whole meeting or part of it. If you have any experience or knowledge in green tourism, sustainable development that you can share, please do so! In the attachement you find the first version of the programm. Please let me know until the 6^th of December if you plan to come and when. And, if you want more details on the project, please contact me as well.
