Idon't know of a good one to address the topic. You can look up "projective geometry" or "homogeneous coordinates" if you want the full mathematical reasons. I'm not a mathematician, but I suspect it has to do with being able to combine the 3x3 rotation matrix and a translation into a single 4x4 matrix. Normally these are separate operations that aren't able to be combined without elevating to a higher dimensional space. Projective geometry is used a lot working with rational Bezier curves and B-splines as well, so it's got a lot of applications besides just graphics.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm trying to describe in as few words as possible that the main idea behind 3D graphics is to create a series of images that mimics what would happen if photons from a real scene would enter the eye. There's a lot more to how the brain processes visual information than the very topical and simplistic explanation I gave, but I thought it was sufficient for beginners trying to understand how graphics can represent 3D objects pretty accurately.


With Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) 3D on the scene, it's realistic for many programmers to now seriously consider using 3D for their applications, where this would have been almost impossible even a few years ago.


I recommend that you implement a simple software based 3d rendering engine. Simple stuff like line, quads, lighting etc. You will learn a whole lot more about 3d programming in general, and it will give you a good prescriptive on 3d graphics and it's limitations.

Employment of graphic designers is projected to grow by 3 percent from 2022 to 2032, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).1 This growth rate is about as fast as the average for all occupations. A graphic designer relies on many different tools. One of the most basic (and least expensive) tools designers use is a sketchbook. If you love studio art, you can certainly integrate those skills into your work as a graphic designer.


A graphic designer needs to be able to use design software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Since the best graphic design software is computer-based, they also need to be comfortable using a computer (as opposed to a phone or tablet) to design.


But design elements are only part of the picture. A professional graphic designer does more than simply make designs. They have to manage their time, communicate with managers and clients, adjust to feedback and group collaboration and keep track of different projects.


As you can see, you need more than a good eye for color to work as a graphic designer. Technical skills, design principles and learning to use new kinds of software are all critical abilities for a graphic designer.

Their template library contains a wide range of sizing options you can search using the names of your favorite platforms. You can also use it to create event flyers and posters. Some people even use Canva for website design.

If you want to get something really fast off the ground, google graphic images of butterflies. Bring them in a movie top, then add trace sop, carve sop, extrude sop. Then manipulate every parameter of interest with chops, expressions you find in other files, or techniques demonstrated in the OP snippets help file.
