Ridequality and performance depend largely on your tires, and not all tires are created equally. Every original equipment tire has been rated by Mazda to be the best available for your specific model and driving needs. Whether you need all-season or all-terrain tires, your Mazda Dealer will find the right tires for you.

The tread on your tires can tell you more than how many miles you've logged. Worn tires should be replaced when the tires' tread-wear bar meets the tread. Have your tires inspected regularly and do not drive on a damaged tire or wheel. Visit your authorized Mazda Dealer for a Full Circle Service inspection to check the wear of your tires for your safety and to maintain your vehicle's best performance.

To keep braking performance at its optimum level, an inspection every six months is recommended. Because brake pads and shoes are hidden behind the wheels, it is difficult to see how much product life is remaining. See your authorized Mazda Dealer for a brake inspection and ask about our Lifetime Limited Warranty on Genuine Mazda and Value Products by Mazda Brake Pads and Shoes.

Know what really turns on your Mazda vehicle? Mazda high-performance batteries. To maintain a reliable, corrosion-free battery with lots of powerful cold-cranking amps and reserve capacity, have your battery periodically checked by a Mazda Dealer.

The Mazda 3 is designed to be quick off the line and aggressive in the curves. In the world of compact cars, the Mazda3 offers a true performance driving experience. CorkSport has been providing Mazda 3 performance parts since the cars release.

Introduced in 2004, the Mazda 3 was built to replace the Protege compact car and improve the design and feel of the small car class. Currently there are 4 model years of the Mazda 3, 2004-2009 Mazda3 also known as Gen 1, 2010-2013 Mazda 3 aka Gen 2, 2014-2018 Mazda3 aka Gen 3, and 2019-up Mazda3 known as Gen 4. There has been a range of engines from 2.0 to 2.5 used through the years and CorkSport has provided Mazda 3 parts for all 4 generations. We have set our sights on the 2014-2018 Mazda 3 with the development of our turbo kit and a host of other upgrades along with the 2019-up Mazda 3 to bring more performance to the market.

The release of the 2021 - up Mazda 3 turbo prompted us to make a standalone parts section for those models of Mazda 3 performance upgrades found here.Whether your goal is just to customize the look of your Mazda 3 with some added accessories for style or to get 10-20 more horsepower and full suspension upgrade, CorkSport Mazda Performance has the Mazda 3 mods and knowledgeable staff to help you achieve the full potential from your Mazda 3.

High-strength steel enables automakers to make parts from thinner sheet metal while retaining the necessary yield strength. This results in a lighter vehicle body, which contributes to improved handling stability and fuel economy. A strong body is also essential to ensure crash safety performance, and the application of higher-strength steel has been widely anticipated.

Until now, cold-stamping of vehicle body structural members has only been possible with 1,180 MPa or lower-classed steel, due to the material's formability and the difficulty of ensuring dimensional accuracy after processing. Working in collaboration with the above-mentioned companies, however, Mazda has found an appropriate set of processing conditions that make the process possible with 1,310 MPa-class high-strength steel.

The all-new Mazda3 uses 1,310 MPa-class high-strength steel for the front pillar inner, the roof rail inner, the hinge pillar reinforcement, the roof rail reinforcement, the No. 2 crossmember and the side sill inner reinforcement, saving about 3 kilograms over the same parts in the previous model.

At this point, our plan is to simply drive the heck out of it and see what the car needs from here. We consider the mild stuff we did a decent starting point, but clearly not the end of what we need to do to make this car competive from a suspension standpoint. That said, you have to start a project somewhere and we'd rather autocross it in this form rather than stock until new parts are developed. Our first event with the new suspension is in a few weeks and we'll post a new update then.

Our initial impression is that we're certainly moving in the right direction with the obvious need for performance shocks at some point soon. We personally like the big bar combination, especially on the front, as the outside front tire's contact patch is held much more consistent at mid-corner and it would take big spring rates to accomplish the same thing. It doesn't have that OMG!1!!1 OVERSTEER!!11!! feeling that a big rear bar only will give you. That said, once that big rear bar hikes the rear inner tire off the ground, it's not helping you anymore.

As far as camber is concerned, we love the design of the Corksport camber plate, but can see the need for more negative camber in the future. With the two-bolt lower strut design, we can see a set of smaller-shanked bolts figuring into this project shortly.

Some Mazda MAZDA3s may have many performance parts available (sometimes dependent on the trim level). Out of the pool of available performance parts, we have narrowed down to the best parts available. The basic idea of performance parts is to optimize your Mazda MAZDA3's chassis and engine to operate at its fullest potential. In regards to engine performance, the parts you can get for your engine range from something basic like a cold air intake to a more complex system such as a turbo kit or supercharger kit.

The extra power added by engine performance parts should also be complemented with chassis/suspension parts. The additions do not have to be done at once, Chassis/suspension parts for your Mazda MAZDA3 can be added on a later date, but a balance should be met to support the extra power. If you have any question in regards to the performance parts for your Mazda MAZDA3, email us and let us know your questions.
