Fora couple of weeks I have had sound problems on Brave. I have tested on many other browsers and sound is present. I have used the settings and allowed the usual sites (for sound) and everything is OK.
I uninstalled and re-installed. The sound did come back on, but then went again. It does come on once I exit Brave , but it goes again
Hello @DRB, thank you for bringing this to our attention. What kind of device and OS do you use? Have you tried deleting your cookies and cache recently? Please, check under brave://settings/content/sound Make sure the sound is enabled and there are no sites restricted to play sound.
Finally, does the same behavior happen in a private/incognito window? Are you using extensions? If so, try removing all of them or one by one to see which one might be causing the issue. Hope this can help you. Regards.
I am playing youtube in brave browser is no audio is coming from my laptop speakers (lenovo ideapd 3) but when i aam playing downloaded videos on laptop the audio is coming! What is this issue , please somebody help me with this!!
Even some audio files are also not audible when playing!
Thank you for the information. Reaching out to the team about this now as I cannot reproduce the issue. I am curious what the exact device you are wanting your audio to play from? Are you connecting via HDMI, then wanting audio to play via headphones the same way as OP of the post you linked to wanted? Or is there a different setup involved here?
For a few months I have been troubleshooting no audio coming from brave-browser installed on my Ubuntu 20.04 machine. For example, if I use the same YouTube URL in Brave and Firefox, I get audio from Firefox but not Brave. This lack of audio still occurs if I do a fresh install of Brave, Brave-beta, Brave-nightly, or Chromium - suggesting an issue with Chromium based browsers. Again, however, audio does work when I use Firefox.
I think this is strong evidence that something is awry with my main account. But I am not sure what settings would prevent audio coming from Chromium based browsers (like Brave + Chromium) but not prevent audio from FireFox.
After months of troubleshooting, I discovered I had both a Brave recommended installed version of Brave (i.e. through their website) and a snap installation of Brave. While I am not sure how this resulted in no audio from the browser, deletion of all snap based software restored the audio function of brave.
The brave-bin repo was chosen because the regular brave one was huge and took many hours to build, only to fail (several times).
Per a previous post that was similar, here is my output from the commands
I have a tendency to use my cameras silently. So as soon as I got it, I configured "Shutter", "Boot-up", and "Beep" sounds to be off. I found that when you do so, whenever the action cam is turned back up, it will not record audio with the video.
2) I think it's the "Boot-up" sound setting that causes this bug. So far, if I turn the other sounds off, but keep the "Boot-up" sounds on, then the action cam will still work fine with audio recording.
3) Every time you turn on the Akaso Brave 7 LE action cam, flip all the audio settings to "on" and then "off" again. This work-around is very tedious and you might forgot to do it, causing all videos to be recorded without audio.

I created a simple white noise web app that uses Howler.js (not configured to use HTML5 audio player) for audio looping. It works great and I keep my computer running with this simple powershell script:
I'm experiencing a problem where the audio will cut off after what seems like a couple days of running (the timing seems inconsistent). Interestingly, the browser volume/audio indicator shows that audio is still playing from the tab but I have to switch the sound off/on within the web app (a series of pause and play calls to Howlers.js) for it to start again.
I use the Brave browser Version 1.65.126 and am on Windows 11 Home 23H2 22631.3447. I'm unable to find anything regarding a feature of the Windows operating or chromium that would cause audio to cut off after a certain amount of time. My speakers are fairly old and are just hardwired as there's no wireless capability which makes me think they aren't the culprit.
West LegalEd Center presents a timely and in-depth audio webcast featuring leading campaign finance experts on the practical effects and the broader impact of the Supreme Court's landmark decision in Citizens United v. FEC. The Court's bombshell opinion in that case has eliminated the legal restrictions on independent political advertising by corporations and labor unions, and is triggering a new round of attention to campaign finance laws from the White House to Congress to state and local governments around the country.
The panel will be led by Caplin & Drysdale's Trevor Potter, long-time counsel to Sen. John McCain. Two other speakers will also join the discussion on the Court's ruling, its reasoning, and the ripple effects it will have on the political activities of business and labor in the 2010 election cycle and beyond.

Brave Sound Studio is the name of my recording and lessons studio. Currently, I work out of my home and online, but I hope to have a dedicated physical space sometime in the future. I chose the name because often it takes courage and bravery to find your own voice and share what you have to bring the world. Navigating all of the firsts can feel like exploring uncharted territory. It takes work to move past our fears, stage fright, and hurts to show up in the world.
Currently, I teach piano lessons, and do the occasional performance gig. I am also hoping to begin branching out to recording, mixing and editing music for clients more often as I gain experience and will post more about that here as it happens.
My teaching style is made up of a few components that I have picked up over the years. I do teach music theory and piano skills, but I will also teach a bit of music history and help students sharpen their ear for music.
My goal is for music and lessons to be fun for the student! If you have a piece of music you are wanting to learn or a goal for yourself, please let me know so we can work on it together. My goal is help you have more fun and to succeed in music.
A couple more things: I am willing to drive to your home for lessons if you are within 15 miles of me, but prefer to teach from my home. I do offer online lessons, so if you live further away, you still have an option for lessons with me. I offer discounts for siblings. I do my best work teaching beginner to intermediate students, so if you are an advanced student, I suggest looking for lessons elsewhere.
