Maybe its a problem with local settings in PHP or your webserver..
Which version of PHP do you use?
Which webserver do you use(IIS or Apache or ..)?

have found the issue now cant believe i missed it my boss found it
yesterday evening
this is what he reported back to me: "Changed the default of german to
english in
schoorbs-includes\lang\language.php line 66." So silly me but thanks for
your help.

Sorry, that that part was not good documentated, will move it in one of the
next
releases into the default configuration file.
