Dear Community,

So many parents come into the assessment process worried about their child's self-esteem - and concerned that a diagnosis will only perpetuate a negative self-image.

However, more often the opposite is true.

Helping kids understand their profile validates their experience, lets them know they are not alone, and gives them tools to help them become their true, confident, authentic selves.

To help, I recorded a talk just for parents, to walk them through, step-by-step, how to talk to kids about a diagnosis.

Please share with any families who may benefit - I hope it's a helpful tool for your practice!

Warmly,

Liz
