BASC-3 or CBRS; BRIEF-2 or CEFI

Happy Friday everyone:

 

As I go through the program, I am reviewing the tools I use and which ones work best with my population, practice, outcomes, etc… While I’ve used each of these scales and have my favorites, I would really like to hear what others (with much more experience than myself) think!!!

 

Which do you prefer for each type: BASC-3 or CBRS; BRIEF-2 or CEFI? Can’t wait to read the replies. ☺

The BASC-3 hands down as a general screener for social-emotional problems. 

The CEFI is better than the BRIEF-2 for executive functions assessment

Dr. Miller... Why do you like the CEFI better than the BRIEF 2? Since there's several measures and assessments for executive function now, any chance you'll have a session at the next Summer Institute to discuss all of them with pros and cons? I'm wanting to justify why my department should buy this one versus that one. I still prefer direct assessment with the DKEFS or NEPSY 2, but screening or confirming with the CEFI or BRIEF 2 has been on my to do list.
