Child Bride: CHILDLINE averts Child marriage of minor girl in West Bengal
Pampa Pahan was a 15 year old tribal girl from West Bengal. A bright student of class IX, her father, Baidyanath Pahan was a daily labourer and her mother, Laxmi Pahan a house wife. Hailing from very poor conditions the family’s monthly income was around Rs. 2000 only.

CHILDLINE Saves Anil from Substance Abuse in Kolhapur
17 year old Anil was admitted to the civic hospital by the CHILDLINE Kolhapur team for a checkup and to begin a medical and psychological counseling for him after he was found highly intoxicated under the influence of drugs.

Eluru: CHILDLINE rescues 15 minor girls from sexual abuse
CHILDLINE Eluru rescued 15 girls who were being sexually harassed by their school Principal in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh. The CHILDLINE Eluru team received a phone call from one of the girls about the indecent behaviour by the founder cum Principal of Sunshine High School.

World Day against Child Labour 2015
Every year on 12th June governments, society and organizations focus their attention towards emphasizing on the plight of child labourers all over the world and taking efforts to eliminate the menace of child labour altogether. CHILDLINEs all over India has unceasingly observed this day through signature campaigns, distributing pamhplets, street shows etc to alert people on the issue and strengthen them to raise their voice and ‘Say No to Child Labour!’
