Aloha School Garden Support Organization Network Friends!

Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foudation was just notified of receipt of the Whole Kids Foundation + The Bee Cause Project Honey Bee Grant.
We are so excited to be receiving an observational hive which will live on our Kōkua Learning Farm.

We are looking for a few options for Observation Have Habitat Building Plans and were only able to find one example on the The Bee Cause Project website.
Do any of you have links to any Observation Have Habitat Building Plans you might be able to share?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Mahalo,
Natalie

Hi there,

I had not heard of the Bee Cause project before. Thanks for that resource. I am a garden facilitator but also the founder of a new non-profit in the Pittsburgh, PA area called Plant it Further and we operate under the umbrella of pollinator awareness. We just started a fence design company as part of our nonprofit called Hexfence to build a "Plant it Further classroom connection" learning board/focal point to help bring awareness to solitary bee's.

We are so brand new that our site is not even live yet and so far we have only installed onto home properties but they quickly became so popular in our community our fence will be going into the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens and the Pittsburgh Children's Museum this spring. Our site hexfence.com will be set up to purchase DYI fence designs for a small fee and you can make your own information signs for the fences or we can supply a template. We will be live by the end of January but can certainly work with you before if you are interested.

Please reach out if you have any questions,
