Join us at the Cincinnati Public Schools' Rockdale Academy and Learning Garden to collaboratively advance whole-district sustainability goals and work together to improve the health and wellness of local communities. 

Green Umbrella's Green & Healthy Schools Symposium will bring together visionary school district leaders- students, educators, and school food service staff- city officials, health agencies, and partner organizations to explore systems for sustaining outdoor learning and environmental practices throughout the school district. The Symposium will feature the Green & Healthy Schools strategies for achieving district-wide sustainability: Green Schoolyards, Green Workforce Development, and School Community Wellness. 

Student leaders, who are the essential stakeholders in the sustainability planning process, will play a central role as presenters and panelists. Symposium attendees will engage in informative sessions, interactive spaces, exhibits, student-led garden tours, and a networking reception to share ideas, spark innovation, and fuel collective impact between school districts, partner organizations, and municipalities.

Early Bird registration runs through Earth Day. Special rates apply for school district staff and wellness committee members. Pay-what-you-can tickets are available!
