Suggestions Sought for Garden Science Supplies

We want to stock up on high-quality scientific supplies and materials that will last us for the long haul.   I am pretty burnt out and the list I have auto-generated is rather short. It is this: refractometers.   So if you have any suggestions for specific products and brands, I would really appreciate it.
