Hi all!
Have any school gardens in CA successfully integrated your garden with the CDE Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program?
It looks like this program can reimburse up to $75/student/year at Title 1 elementary schools for minimally prepared tastings/snacks. 30% of this funding can be used for labor/overhead/education.
We are looking at how this funding can enhance our garden program and would love to hear of any examples (successful or not).
