Hi,

I'm trying to learn more about my student's (4k-5th) cultural associations that they already have with gardening and growing in order to better meet their needs, bring in appropriate speakers, and celebrate growing methods of various cultures.

Have you surveyed your students in this way before and what specific wording did you use in your questions to learn more about their needs? Are there any ways this conversation could involve curriculum violence that I should be aware of? We will be having a verbal discussion as a class.

Thanks,
Dana Scheffen

Following this as I am in the process of writing a district-wide survey around Farm to School program including this piece!
