Recognition of Volunteers/Champions?

Good morning friends,

I would really love to do an end of year celebration for my many volunteers, staff champions, faculty supporters, community partners etc. Has anyone done such a celebration and if so, what did it look like, and most importantly, how did you fund it???  I fear I would have to pay for this out of pocket as my district can't allow its funds spent on a special dinner event.  Has anyone had a creative solution to this!!
