Hi everyone! I wanted to share a few upcoming professional learning opportunities from Life Lab.

🌿 Life Lab Garden Education Certification Program: Our 16-week virtual certification course begins September 8 and provides hands-on training, coaching, and resources to help educators build and strengthen garden-based learning programs. www.lifelab.org/educator-certification-program

🥕 Roots & Recipes: Teaching Social Studies and Nutrition Outdoors: Join us September 17-18 at Life Lab’s Garden Classroom for two hands-on days exploring how food and gardens can connect students to history, culture, geography, nutrition, and community. www.lifelab.org/roots-and-recipes

🍎 Santa Cruz School Food and Garden Tour on October 22. The Santa Cruz area is home to robust, long-standing gardens and innovative school meal programs. Join us to visit resilient school gardens and scratch-cooking school meal programs that are exemplary of programming that has been running for decades. www.lifelab.org/santa-cruz-area-school-food-and-garden-tour

🏫 Bring a Life Lab Workshop to Your Site: We offer on-site workshops that bring Life Lab’s garden-based education expertise directly to your school or organization. Limited dates are available for the remainder of 2026, and we’re now booking for 2027! Details here: www.lifelab.org/sitebased-workshops

Financial assistance is available for on-site workshops at the Life Lab Garden, and the option for continuing education credits are available for all.
