You are invited to attend the third session of our new Green Schoolyard Lecture Series on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM PT/2:00 PM ET: “Embracing Risky Schoolyard Play for Exploration, Learning, and Growth.”
Mariana Brussoni, founder and head of the Outside Play Lab, has published award-winning research that investigates how to ensure children have the time, space and freedom to play outside every day. In this session, she will be discussing why beneficial risk and play is critical to children’s wellbeing, as well as how to increase opportunities for “risky” play in the context of a green schoolyard.
The lecture will be recorded and posted to our website for those of you who are unable to attend.
