Hi there,
My team would like to put together a quick survey of classroom teachers who bring their classes outside for a class led by one of our garden educators. We want to get a sense of their satisfaction levels with the lessons, and the instruction as well as ask for any suggestions they have for us.

Does anyone have something along those lines that they could share?

Thanks!

Hi Christina,

The SGSO Network has a promising practices section on measuring impact and sharing results. Many of the resources and best practices on the main page relate to all types of surveys and evaluations but there is also a sub section that dives into different types of outcomes based on who you are surveying. We don't currently have examples listed specifically for teacher engagement, but if anyone has examples to share, please submit here so we can post them on that page.

Thanks!

Best,
Tristana

Hello Christina,

I use this as a Master Gardener tool when I start with a new school to gauge garden use by various teachers.  Feel free to edit it to your needs or as a step towards creating a form that meets your needs.

Christina,

Here is a collection of sample surveys that are listed on the Sample Surveys Page and which are listed under "Student Engagement". They include examples of the questions you are looking to ask of teachers and ask teachers of their perceptions of student engagement and related outcomes.

Hello everyone

I have accidentally purged my survey to just 4 questions as I was attempting to make sure everyone could access it. I’ve recently discovered that this kind of save in google forms cannot be retrieved. So I’ll have to rewrite the survey 😔. I can’t believe I did this!!  But lesson learnt don’t share google forms in a rush.

Will share when it’s redone next week.
