Calling Garden Educators,

I am passing on an opportunity to share in a survey of Garden Educators.
I just took the survey to share about my garden teaching 3rd-5th at Starlight Elementary and it took me 7 minutes.

Scott Morrison and Grace Rasmussen of Elon University are conducting this survey to learn what experienced, effective garden-based educators believe and do -- and why.

Read the message below from Scott or access the survey here

Hi everyone,

We are launching a new research study on the philosophies and practices of garden-based educators! Studies show the benefits -- academic, social, emotional, physical -- of school and community gardens. This study is about the EDUCATORS. We want to learn what experienced, effective garden-based educators believe and do -- and why.

The study starts with a short survey that will take about 10 minutes or less, and there will be an option to indicate your willingness to participate in a 45-ish minute interview -- we would set up at a time convenient to you and have it on Zoom. We have gift cards as a thanks to those who do an interview!

Here is the link if you are interested: bit.ly/gardenbasededucation

If you click the link, you will see some information about research studies in general and this one in particular. This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Elon University, and all participants remain anonymous.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me (smorr...@elon.edu) or Grace (grasm...@elon.edu).

If you are able, please pass along the link to garden-based educators that you know.

Thank you for considering! More importantly, thank you for the work that you do!

Scott Morrison and Grace Rasmussen
