I help lead a garden that supports food banks, meal programs, and school snacks and meals. We are all volunteer master gardeners and we are trying to establish a presence on Instagram as another method of highlighting the work and engaging more folks.

I see a number of businesses that have a great Instagram presence and I am trying to find the best tools to support this. Of course, because we are all volunteer, budget is a huge factor. That said, I began the free trial of HootSuite to help manage some of our posts and in an effort to gain some extra tools but I'm finding that it is actually more limiting than just posting direct (glad I am doing the free trial and not paying!).

I wonder if anyone here has found an effective tool or resources to help with publishing and managing your social media presence that is good for goups or nonprofits? Extra points for free or very low cost options!
