Apps used to manage school gardens

I'm curious if anyone has found a good app to use to manage a school garden  I have used facebook groups, but thinking something that allows volunteer signups, discussion, calendar, document storage, and communication. Was hoping Google might have something which would easily integrate with teachers who already use google classroom, but haven't found anything. Saw some for community gardens but they seem more geared for bed signup and transaction for payment.

Loudoun County Public Schools (VA) reportedly is leaving google for Schoology for more flexibility and options.
