315 SeedMoney grants are up for grabs: can you help us spread the word?

Dear School Garden Advocates,

The 6th Annual SeedMoney Challenge is coming up next month with over $55,000 worth of grants up for grabs. All types of public food garden projects - school gardens included - are eligible to apply with no geographic restrictions. Since 2015, we've helped 1350 garden projects raise $1.1 million through crowdfunding and challenge grants. 

We used to pay for ads on Facebook to publicize the Challenge, but can no longer do this in good conscience given the platform's role in spreading disinformation about public health, politics and other important topics. As a result, we're asking people like you to help us advertise this opportunity in a more personal way by forwarding this email to a few people in your circle of contacts who might find it of interest.

As for the details, we'll be awarding at least 315 grants this year ($100-$700) and the deadline to apply is November 12, 2020. No previous grant-writing or crowdfunding experience is required.
