Hello Gardineers,
I’m sharing this simple sign I created (with some AI help) to encourage better care of our shared supplies.
We work across multiple sites and maintain sets of clipboards for outdoor classroom work (up to 36 students in the elementary upper grades). Over time, we’ve had the usual misadventures like graffiti (including the S doodle that's been around since the 1980s 😄) and clipboards getting lost.
This sign is a small, low-lift attempt to encourage our instructors to take care of shared materials and help keep sets complete so they’re available for the next group of students. I abhor the color scheme, but I needed something fast and hopefully it gets the job done. I also went bananas with my label maker and labeled every single clipboard.
I’d also love to see what others are using to manage shared materials across sites. And, if this is useful to your program, feel free to adapt it. I'm happy to share the Canva link.
Cheers,
-- Christina Abuelo
